The genocide of the Tamil people takes many forms today. Slowly erasing their unique language, culture, traditions, and changing the demographics in their traditional homeland; where they have lived for thousands of years are such examples. Denying justice to the countless victims of genocide continues to be a strategy employed by the Sri Lankan state.
The power of what one person can do is immeasurable. You can join the growing number of people who are taking action to end the Tamil genocide. Simple acts such as: contacting the media, communicating with decision and policy makers, getting engaged in your community and supporting educational and advocacy initiatives are small steps you can take to make monumental change.
It is never too late to end the genocide of the 21st century.
